We are the ROMI Lab, the premier research group in perceptual robotics and intelligent machines at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)
We welcome applications for PhD studies from students in engineering disciplines, computer science or applied mathematics. To be funded, you need a very high bachelor's GPA. You must also have (or about to complete) a research-based master's degree.

Our mission is to unveil the fundamental principles that enable robots to achieve advanced sensorimotor capabilities.

For that, we integrate knowledge from various disciplines, such as and mechanics, artificial intelligence, control theory, and computer vision.
